DEDICATED TO - - - - -LITTLE JEAN
Little queen of our house
Ruler of this isle,
Please forget your tiny heartaches
And troubles for a while.
We, dwellers of your kingdom
Are loyal subjects all
It fills our hearts with sorrow
To see a teardrop fall.
We'd give you the moon for a yo-yo
And at your feet we'd pile
A million pretty moonbeams
Just to see you smile.
We'd gather stars and butterflies
To make a sweet bouquet
And use a soft, white fluffy cloud
To dry your tears away.
Is that a smile? A dimple is
For just an instant seen
You laugh, and we laugh with you,
Our little Princess Jean.
