'Too-ra loo-ra loo-ra - - ' my Dad's lips against my hair
As we ambled down the paddock aboard the old brown mare,
My Mum's warm arms around me, crooning some soft lullaby,
Magpie chorus every dawn as childhood years slipped by,
School concerts in the woolshed, country dances in the hall,
Family sing - songs in the kitchen, wireless on the wall,
Joyous chimes - our wedding, two lives truly blessed,
Hymns of hope and comfort - dear ones laid to rest,
Life measures out a melody, as tears or laughter start,
Symphonies of memories score dreams across my heart.
