COULD BE WORSE , MATE !
Owoo-ooo-ooo -
Bonzer, boy, please stop your howling
Our tears keep falling too, in sympathy
Your poor doggy heart a - breaking
Over tragic 'tracks of tragedy'.
Sorrow for the grieving husband
Whose wife lay 'in the luggage van ahead' ,
Pity for the drunken father
Knowing that his children both were dead.
Mourning over 'Momma's Roses '
Tail between the legs for 'Teddy Bear',
Bonzer, are you ever happy
Or always in the depths of dark despair?
A whimper for dear 'Old Shep's ' passing
A sad whine, old mate, 'Dusty, it's goodbye'
Come on, feller, wag your tail now
Or have you lost the will to even try ?
If your master really loved you
Would he treat his faithful friend this way?
Poor old doggy in the doldrums
Should we call the R.S.P.C.A. ?
Cheer up, Bonzer, could be worse,
mate
Suppose he made you watch old 'Lassie ' films all
day?
Or - - - one hundred horror howlers - - -
Ran right out of country songs to play !!!!!!
